This was a project where we tried to make our images look like a kaleidoscope by using balance and symmetry. In order for the image to come out looking like a kaleidoscope, the use of symmetry is imperative. If the images had no symmetry then they would not have the kaleidoscope effect. Every side is symmetrical to the other in all of these images. Balance is also very important. If you split the images above into four equal parts by splitting it in half from top to bottom then side to side, you will notice that every square has the same colors and the same amount of positive and negative space therefore making them all balanced.
